Position Overview
SPCAA is seeking an experienced Caseworker Lead to support Child Care Services (CCS) operations through advanced case management, staff support, and compliance oversight. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate eligibility determination, efficient workflow management, and high-quality customer service.
The Caseworker Lead serves as a technical resource and assists with complex cases, recertifications, and waitlist management.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and determine eligibility for CCS services
- Oversee waitlist prioritization and case assignments
- Coordinate recertification processes and timelines
- Provide guidance and support to caseworkers
- Resolve complex cases and escalations
- Ensure compliance with TWC and Board policies
- Support quality assurance, audits, and process improvement
Minimum Qualifications (Screening Requirements)
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 3–5 years of experience in:
- Child Care Services (CCS), OR
- Social services, OR
- Workforce development programs
- Experience with eligibility determination or case management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within TWC-funded programs
- Prior leadership, mentoring, or lead worker experience
- Familiarity with eligibility systems and case management software
