Overview
We are looking for a skilled and hardworking Equipment Operator to join our team. Must be able to operate a variety of heavy machinery and general labor involved in all aspects of excavation and landscaping. We want a team member who takes pride in their work and has a strong work ethic.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, and skid steers to execute construction tasks efficiently and safely
- Manage site grading, excavation, material handling, and transportation.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery to maintain optimal performance and safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment use and project timelines on active construction sites
- Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations during equipment operation and site activities
- Assist with setup and breakdown of construction sites by moving materials and clearing debris as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators, skid steers, loaders, dozers, and smaller machinery
- Strong knowledge of construction site procedures and safety practices
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues quickly
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience driving heavy-duty vehicles like dump trucks, water trucks, or tanker trucks
- Familiarity with construction tools and farm machinery is a plus
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and quality
- Prior experience in concrete mixing is advantageous
Pay: $27.00 - $38.00 per hour
