Responsibilities:
- Perform acupuncture treatments on patients using sterile needles
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans
- Utilize medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to accurately diagnose and treat patients
- Provide trigger point therapy and other pain management techniques
- Perform physical examinations to assess patient conditions and progress
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Educate patients on self-care techniques and provide recommendations for ongoing treatment
Qualifications:
- Valid license to practice acupuncture in the state
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
- Experience in trigger point therapy and acute pain management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient service
- Ability to work in a hospital or clinical setting
