South O’Brien Community School District has an anticipated opening for a 7–8 Physical Education and Science Teacher who is passionate about engaging students and promoting both physical wellness and academic growth.
This unique position offers the opportunity to impact students in multiple ways by fostering healthy lifestyles while also building curiosity and understanding in the sciences. We are seeking someone who is student focused, energetic, and collaborative, and who is excited to be part of a supportive school community.
Serving approximately 600 PK through 12 students across the communities of Paullina, Primghar, Sutherland, Calumet, Gaza, and Germantown, our district offers a close knit environment where staff truly know their students.
This is an exciting time to join South O’Brien. Voters recently approved a 26 million dollar bond that supports major additions and renovations at our secondary campus in Paullina along with improvements to our elementary site in Primghar. This reflects strong community support and investment in our schools.
