Role And Responsibilities
- Learning and developing skills in the operation of the distributors that fill the tunnels with compost, and in the operation of forklifts and filling equipment.
- Checking the compost for moisture and quality before, during and after flips.
- Clearing and cleaning tunnels in preparation for re-filling.
- Prepping straw and hay bales for processing in the mixing line.
- Communicate with the Manager and Supervisors clearly and effectively.
- The ability to follow directions and work independently.
- The ability to work as part of a team and in cooperation with others.
- The willingness to learn new skills and follow procedures.
