Pizza Shop Counter Server
About Us:
We're a busy local pizza restaurant serving delicious pizzas, sides, and more to our community. We're looking for a friendly and reliable Counter Server to join our team and help provide great service to our customers!
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly as they enter or call the restaurant
- Take accurate orders in-person, over the phone, and for takeout/delivery
- Operate the cash register/POS system(toast) to process payments (cash, card, mobile) and provide correct change
- Ensure orders are complete and handed to customers promptly
- Answer customer questions about the menu and handle any inquiries politely
- Keep the front counter, dining area, and menus clean and stocked
- Assist with light cleaning tasks and restocking as needed
- Assist with Pizza, Sub, and Salad making as needed
Requirements:
- Friendly and positive attitude with strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous cashier or restaurant experience is a plus, but not required (we'll train the right person!)
- Must be reliable and able to stand for extended periods

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
