School Year: 2026–2027
Stipend: $500.00 Per Month

South Koochiching / Rainy River ISD 363 is seeking an energetic and community-focused Indus Community Education Coordinator to lead and expand community education opportunities that enrich the lives of learners of all ages. This position serves as a liaison between the school district, families, community organizations, and local stakeholders to develop programs that strengthen lifelong learning, community engagement, and educational partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee the Indus Community Education program and activities for youth, adults, and families.
- Coordinate adult education, recreation, and family engagement opportunities.
- Manage the program’s registration, financial records, scheduling, marketing, and communications.
- Ensure compliance with district policies, state requirements, and safety procedures.
- Coordinate and report use of school forest land
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience coordinating educational, recreational, or community-based programs preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with families, staff, and community members.
