What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sub - Bus Driver position at South Glens Falls Central School District?
The district has continuous recruitment for substitute bus drivers.
General Duties:
- Drive a school vehicle over assigned routes.
- Supervise students' behavior, loading and unloading of the school bus.
- Wash outside front and rear of bus as necessary and sweep interior.
- Follow all New York State Motor Vehicle and Department of Transportation Laws, State Education and local school district rules and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned by the Transportation Supervisor and the Superintendent or designee.
Job Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Abilities, and Qualifications:
- Have or obtain a New York State Commercial Driver's License under DMV Article 19A
- Good driving record
- Pass State Education and School physicals
- Must attend all classes of instruction required by New York State Education Department.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
