As a Security Guard, you will serve as the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and contractors while helping maintain a safe workplace. Your responsibilities will include:
Monitoring and controlling access to company property
Greeting and assisting employees, visitors, and vendors
Conducting routine patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas
Monitoring security cameras and responding to unusual activity
Investigating and documenting incidents, safety concerns, and security violations
Enforcing company policies and security procedures
Communicating important information to management and emergency responders when needed
Completing detailed reports of daily activities and incidents
Helping ensure a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for everyone on site
Previous security, law enforcement, military, or related experience preferred
Strong observation skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to walk, stand, and patrol for extended periods
Ability to write clear and accurate reports
