JOB LOCATION : Main Campus
DEPARTMENT: CASE MANAGEMENT
SCHEDULE: Full Time, 8 HR Day Shift, 8-1630
POSITION SUMMARY
The Social Services Supervisor serves as the leader and coordinator of the social work department, charged with the supervision of personnel, the assurance of exemplary patient care, the provision of clinical supervision, and the facilitation of interprofessional collaboration.
EDUCATION
- Masterâs degree in social work (MSW) from an accredited institution required.
- State licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of five years of clinical social work experience in a hospital environment
- Experience in supervision, leadership, and program management is strongly preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of hospital social work practices, applicable laws, and ethical standards.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary setting.
- Skilled in leading multidisciplinary teams.
Substantial sitting, walking and standing. Light lifting (not to exceed 25 pounds), bending and pushing objects. Requires considerable reading and mental effort. At times may be subject to high levels of stress
