JOB LOCATION : Main Campus
DEPARTMENT: ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES
SCHEDULE: Full Time, 8HR Evening Shift, 3pm - 11:30pm
POSITION SUMMARY Oversees and directs the day-to-day operation of the Environmental Services Department ensuring a clean, orderly and safe environment. To assist the Coordinating Manager in maintaining a high quality standard of housekeeping and keeping them informed on the immediate condition of all assigned areas and by training, supervising and motivating the departmental personnel to be sure all schedules are complete. Participates in the departmentâs performance improvement activities.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Ensures quality results by overseeing and assisting with the coordination of schedules for cleaning of patient rooms, offices, clinical and public areas using the 7 Step cleaning process.
- Coordinates and schedules routine floor and carpet cleaning.
- Conducts daily walk-through inspections to insure delivery of housekeeping services.
- (3-5) Three-five years Housekeeping/Environmental Services experience preferred.
- (1) year or more management or supervisor experience required.
WORKING CONDITIONS- ADA INFORMATION:
Comfortable routine working conditions with the possibility of irregular schedule including weekends. Exposure to certain levels of stress. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds. Exposed to hazard of burns and cuts due to working with hot equipment. Constant standing or walking with regular periods of concentration.
