Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Controller located in Immokalee, FL, with some opportunities to work from home. The Controller will oversee financial operations, including budget planning, financial reporting, and internal audits. On a day-to-day basis, the role involves managing accounting operations, monitoring financial performance, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Controller will collaborate closely with leadership to support decision-making through insightful financial analysis and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting skills
- Expertise in accounting principles, internal audits, and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency with accounting software and financial management tools
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is a plus
- Experience in the produce or agriculture industry is advantageous
