Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types boat engines.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Align and transmit components to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct testing as needed.
- Utilize dealership resources for parts procurement and technical support.
- Solder electrical connections as needed for repairs.
- Operate forklifts safely while moving equipment or materials.
- Provide tire service including installation, rotation, and repair.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on equipment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in mechanical repair, particularly with boat engines.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Familiarity with air brake systems and their maintenance requirements.
- Experience in a dealership environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to solder electrical components effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
