General Dentist

Overview

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in general dentistry and be committed to providing exceptional patient care. This role involves working with a diverse patient population, including children and adults, and requires proficiency in various dental procedures. Duties

• Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients of all ages.
• Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and prosthodontics.
• Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation daily using dental terminology and Dentrix software.
• Develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs while educating patients on oral health practices.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth operations within the dental office.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry to provide the highest level of care.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Experience in general dentistry is required; experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, or prosthodontics is a plus.
• Strong understanding of dental terminology and daily medical records management.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
