Summary
As a Maintenance Technician at South Davis Community Hospital, you will be an integral part of our facilities team, ensuring that our hospital environment remains safe and operational. This role is vital in supporting our mission to provide high-quality healthcare services through effective maintenance and repair of hospital facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hospital equipment and facilities.
- Utilize in house portal for tracking work orders and managing maintenance schedules.
- Inspect and troubleshoot logic controllers to ensure proper functionality.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs.
- Assist in residential painting projects as required within the hospital premises.
- Provide excellent customer service to all hospital staff and visitors during maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of various systems for effective maintenance management.
- Experience with logic controllers and troubleshooting techniques.
- Construction background or relevant certifications and experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership abilities to work autonomously is preferred.
- Basic customer service skills to interact positively with staff and patients.
- Familiarity with electrical testing is a plus.
