The Graduate School seeks a detail oriented and self-directed person to provide administrative support to the Graduate School.
Duties include administrative support for data management; collecting data/information for monthly and annual reports; assisting with graduate student registration and billing, programming activities and providing administrative support to the Graduate School. The successful candidate will work independently and as part of a team, and will demonstrate:
Knowledge of:
Experience with the University’s systems/policies/procedures or experience in higher education is highly desired.
Duties include administrative support for data management; collecting data/information for monthly and annual reports; assisting with graduate student registration and billing, programming activities and providing administrative support to the Graduate School. The successful candidate will work independently and as part of a team, and will demonstrate:
Knowledge of:
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access)
- Filing systems, both manual and electronic
- Modern office equipment, practices and procedures
- Manage multiple projects and provide excellent customer service
- Communicate effectively in oral and written form
- Effectively coordinate, plan and implement Programming activities
- Work independently with attention to detail and comply with deadlines
- Interpret and comprehend graduate program policies and procedures
- Advise graduate students with registration
- Maintain confidentiality
- Provide administrative support to Graduate School (coordinate meetings/ schedules, activities, correspondence, plan travel, maintain files, invoices, and reimbursements)
Experience with the University’s systems/policies/procedures or experience in higher education is highly desired.
