Job Summary
The Janitor is responsible for maintaining offices and common areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at all times. Areas include offices, restrooms, break rooms, conference rooms, corridors, lobbies, stairwells, and other public spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow all safety requirements and procedures.
- Secure work areas and post safety signage as needed.
- Perform floor care (mopping, buffing, burnishing, carpet cleaning).
- Clean restrooms, offices, classrooms, and common areas.
- Dust, clean walls, and maintain public spaces.
- Maintain custodial equipment and storage areas.
- Perform periodic and assigned cleaning tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Commercial janitorial experience (preferred)
- Permanent resident with at least 3 years of U.S. residency
- Ability to pass a drug screen and Federal background check
