Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a School-Based Therapist located in Englewood, OH. The Therapist will provide counseling services to students while collaborating with school staff, families, and other stakeholders to address behavioral health needs. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, implementing individualized treatment plans, offering one-on-one and group therapy sessions, and supporting students in achieving their social, emotional, and behavioral goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Treatment Planning to develop and implement effective, individualized plans for clients.
- Expertise in Social Work practices to address social and emotional needs effectively.
- Experience in Case Management to coordinate care and connect clients with necessary resources.
- Solid foundation in Psychology with the ability to apply therapeutic principles and techniques.
- Skills and experience in Family Therapy to support clients and their families in navigating challenges collaboratively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster trust and positive relationships with clients and partners.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required. Licensure in the State of Ohio (e.g., LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC) is mandatory.
- Experience working with children and/or in a school setting is preferred.
