Job Summary:
The HR Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle recruitment activities including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates. This role works closely with hiring managers to meet workforce needs and support company growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements and create compelling job descriptions
- Post open positions on job boards, social media, and company career pages
- Source and engage candidates through LinkedIn, job fairs, referrals, and industry events
- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone/video interviews
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring teams
- Manage applicant tracking system (ATS) and maintain accurate candidate records
- Prepare and extend job offers; handle pre-employment processes (background checks, references, etc.)
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
- Track recruitment metrics and generate reports for leadership
- Support employer branding initiatives and diversity hiring goals
- Assist with onboarding, orientation, and workforce planning as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a recruiter or talent acquisition specialist (in-house or agency)
- Strong understanding of recruitment techniques, labor laws, and interview strategies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Proficient in using ATS platforms and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, really, etc.)
- Ability to handle multiple roles and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
- High level of discretion and professionalism with sensitive information
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR)
- Experience recruiting in [industry, e.g., telecom, tech, healthcare]
- Familiarity with DEI hiring practices and strategies
