Responsibilities Of The Employment And Recruitment HR Specialist
- Coordinates recruitment and selection process for filling vacancies for all Pee Dee and Low Country full-time and temporary positions. Acts as a back-up for all regions and Headquarters as needed. Ensures all required communications with management and Training are executed timely. Coordinates the final selection and offer process of vacant positions for accuracy and compliance with State and Federal Laws. Runs 10-Year driver's license checks if needed, requests out-of-state driver's license checks from Driver Services and reference checks as needed. Coordinates fingerprinting of select employees through MorphoTrust and tracks results received from FBI. Completes all logging and tracking requirements. Coordinates the final selection and offer process of vacant positions for accuracy and compliance with State and Federal Laws. Distribute job offer letters, complete all communications to reporting and hiring officials, Training, and all other Supervisor/Management teams. Ensures are records are scanned into the On-Base system.
- Assists in the staffing process to include ensuring job vacancies are posted and distributed internally on NEOGOV, DEW and other means like Linked-In, Facebook, AAMVA, etc. if necessary. Assists in making sure that all applications are reviewed and evaluated based on the minimum training & experience requirements. Ensures proper EEO information is entered for tracking purposes. Manages the final selection and offer process of vacant positions for accuracy and compliance with State and Federal laws. Accurately process ArcPoint/Morphotrust background checks and Driver’s License checks. Manages the fingerprinting of select employees through E AGENT/ CIJS system and track results received from SLED and the FBI.
- Assists in coordinating the on-boarding process with the HR team, new employees, and Training. In rotation with other Employment & Recruitment team members, serves as the facilitator during New Employment Orientation welcoming new hires, providing point of contact information for managers, gathering documentation and ensuring all PowerPoint classes are ready and available for instructors.

- Ability to communicate with employees and all levels of management.
- Ability to work in a high pace, multi-tasking environment & prioritization of tasks is a must.
- Must have good organizational skills. Strong computer skills are essential.
- Knowledge of Microsoft products to include Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to maintain a good working relationship with customers, employees, and co-workers.
- Knowledge of Human Resources policies, procedures, and regulations.
- This position reports to the Employment and Recruitment Human Resources Manager I and performs job functions under general supervision.
- Work in a team environment and interacts with other HR personnel daily.
