Minimum And Additional Requirements
State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for required work experience.

- This position is located within SCDC Procurement Division.
- General Nature of work - under general supervision coordinates routing procurement activities in the amount of one million dollars or less while ensuring the goods and services are procured in compliance with agency and state of SC Procurement Code Policy.
- Develops, prepares and reviews solicitations for the purchase of goods and services at the most advantageous value by use of the proper SC procurement code methodology.
- Issues purchase orders within the guidelines of state and agency policy.
- Serves as a backup to purchasing administrative staff assisting in bid openings, phone backup, and filing backup.
- Assists the PCA in the paperwork process to ensure agency procurement card bill is paid in a timely manner and that transactions were lawful in nature.
