Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant, you’ll be a key financial partner driving accuracy, compliance, and strategic insights. This role goes beyond numbers—you’ll collaborate across departments, optimize processes, and ensure our financial health supports the organization’s mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services. Be part of the change as we go-live with a new financial software suite.

·        Lead Financial Excellence: Perform in-depth financial and cost analysis to guide decision-making and improve performance.

·        Own Core Accounting Processes:

·        Oversee preparation and review of financial statements, supplemental schedules, and audit & tax workpapers.

·        Oversee the accounts receivable function.

·        Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of general ledger accounts and adjustments.

·        Champion Compliance:

·        Prepare and file 1099s, property taxes, and government census reports unclaimed property reports and other local, state & federal reports.

·        Serve as the primary contact for federal, state, and insurance audits.

·        Drive Budgeting & Reporting:

·        Develop and manage the annual budget process.

·        Maintain Corporation’s financial records, including monthly billings.

·        Problem-Solve & Innovate: Troubleshoot accounting system issues and identify process improvements for efficiency.

·        Collaborate & Communicate: Partner with internal teams and external auditors to ensure transparency and accuracy.

·        Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration with an accounting concentration, is preferred.

·        Experience: Minimum 3 years in a general accounting role with strong PC skills.
