Who We Are:
We are South Bay Marina located directly on Irondequoit Bay and we are celebrating 10 years as a marina. We have a fleet of 12 rental boats and renting kayaks.
About The Role:
As a part of our boat crew, you get an awesome job with a waterfront view! We are looking for highly motivated people who work well under pressure and can juggle multiple tasks at once. You will be working outside in the elements with all our rental, boat club, and other customers. This Job Starts in May.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in checking customers in and out in timely manner
- Performs daily front-end maintenance including answering telephone, store cleanliness, etc.
- Provide safety and operation procedures, before sending rental boats out from dock
- Assist in catching rental boats when returning to dock
- Cleaning & refueling boats
- Checking over boats for damages, cleanliness, & fuel usage
- Process payments from customers
- Perform general cleaning duties (taking out trash, maintaining a clean bathroom, etc.)
- Some lawn care around the property
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills required
- Communication skills is a must
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull a minimum of 30 pounds
- Must be able to work weekends and some holidays!
- This is an outdoor job so you will be working in the elements
Pay is increased based on performance and attendance to scheduled hours. Customers also tend to tip based on their satisfaction.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
