South Bay Auto Auction is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Assistant to support our human resources department.
The Role:
The Role:
- In this position, you will manage time cards, organize and update files, and prepare reports.
- On a daily basis, you will handle and perform other administrative tasks as needed.
- Our ideal candidate has at least three years of experience in human resources, but we are willing to train the right person.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.
- Organize, compile and update company personnel records and documentation.
- Perform periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Assist with the recruitment of potential applicants when needed.
- Update online job posting requirements when needed.
- Help organize new employee orientation, on-boarding, and training programs using Bamboo HRIS, Deputy, and Workforce Now.
- Assist in explaining & providing information on employee benefits.
- Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to improve performance through management feedback.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma.
- Three years in human resources preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office & Excel.
- General knowledge of employment laws and best practices.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now, Deputy and Bamboo systems is a plus.
