Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate certified Montessori Teacher to join our educational team at a private school for 3-6 year olds, for the 2026 School Year. Opportunity to begin working in the classroom would be available during the middle of January.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role requires effective communication skills, creativity in lesson planning, and the ability to manage classroom behavior effectively. Experience with Montessori method is required.
Responsibilities
- Educate students in various subjects while promoting critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Manage classroom behavior by establishing clear expectations and maintaining a positive atmosphere.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and classroom activities.
- Create a nurturing environment that supports the emotional and social development of each child.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance teaching strategies and share best practices.
Qualifications
- An Early Childhood Montessori Certification is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field; teaching certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and effective teaching methodologies.
- Experience in a private school setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Montessori education techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
