Responsibilities:
- Prepare fresh, made-to-order sandwiches according to customer specifications and company recipes
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked sandwich prep station
- Slice meats, cheeses, and vegetables to order while following proper food safety protocols
- Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service at the counter
- Monitor ingredient freshness and communicate low stock levels to management
- Follow all food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines
- Assist with opening and closing duties as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food service, sandwich making, or a deli environment preferred
- Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Food Handler's Card or willingness to obtain one upon hire
- Reliable, punctual, and a team-oriented mindset
