About Us:
Arizona Sandwich Company a local family owned sandwich shop chain since 1998 located in an industrial business park halfway between ASU and Sky Harbor along University Dr. near the 143 Hohokam expressway on the border of Tempe/Phoenix. This is our largest and busiest location out of all 6 locations.
Location:
1775 W University Dr.
Tempe, AZ 85281
(corner of University & 52nd Street)
Hours:
Monday - Friday 6am-4pm, Saturdays 8am-3pm, Closed Sundays & Hollidays
Shifts:
PART TIME up to 35 hours
4-5 shifts per week
No Nights - No Sundays - No Holidays
Job Description:
- Food prep
- Wash and slice fruits and vegetables, slice meats and cheeses on the automatic slicer, prepare pasta salads, prepare large batches of ingredients for the day.
- Sandwich prep
- Prepare sandwiches salads, burritos, wraps, etc at a fast pace for individual sandwich orders and catering trays.
- Deep Fryer (extra pay for frying experience)
Job Requirements:
- Must be reliable (as demonstrated by past employment history), have dependable transportation, natural hair color, concealed body piercings/tattoos, over 18 years old, high school diploma, and valid Food Handler's Card.
Pay:
- Higher hourly wages earned for those that have recent similar sandwich making experience and can demonstrate ability to keep up the pace without making mistakes on orders and works ahead on prep without constant direction after training.
