What You'll Do
- Handle a broad range of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing on a national level.
- Assist clients through all phases of real estate deals, including negotiation, due diligence, financing, closing, and leasing.
- Draft and review purchase agreements, lease agreements, loan documents, and other transactional contracts.
- Conduct title and survey reviews and work on zoning and land use matters.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal real estate laws while providing strategic counsel.
- Work closely with lenders, developers, investors, and other stakeholders in complex transactions.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners to develop client relationships and business opportunities.
What You'll Bring
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
- 3-5 years of experience in real estate transactions at a law firm.
- Strong knowledge of real estate financing, commercial leasing, acquisitions, and dispositions.
- Excellent contract drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex transactions in a fast-paced environment.
- Licensed to practice law in New York or ability to obtain admission.
- Strong client-service mindset with excellent communication and organizational skills.
