SourcePro Search has a fantastic opportunity for an Associate with 3-4 years of Venture Capital Fund experience, for a Top Ranked Global Law Firm.
In this role, you will provide day-to-day counsel to founders and management teams of companies ranging from true startups to late-stage venture-backed businesses, and work closely with them in connection with financings, M&A and other strategic transactions.
Qualified candidates must have very strong document drafting and negotiating skills, and will have 3-4 years of experience in emerging technology companies; venture capital financings (convertible securities and preferred equity); mergers and acquisitions; and the organization, development and counseling of early stage companies, their founders and boards.
We are seeking a well-rounded, detail-oriented, highly-motivated individual who is an effective communicator, seeks significant client contact, and is willing to work hard toward partnership.
Large firm experience and strong academics are a must.
