Key Worksite Duties And Responsibilities
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Supervises and develops faculty members as it relates to the residency program
- Directly supervises all performance enhancement residents
- Effectively communicates program needs and requirements across all stakeholders involved including but not limited to, direct supervisor and appropriate leadership, residents, faculty, and physicians.
- Communicates with residents regularly regarding worksite schedules, paid vacation requests, growth and development throughout the program, and graduation requirements and status.
- Communicates regularly with the Department Supervisor of Residencies regarding program status, events, and needs.
- Work in conjunction with the Department Supervisor of Residencies on budgetary needs for the program including, but not limiting to, resident salaries, faculty stipends, and additional resources needed to effectively manage the program.
- Program development and planning, including maintaining compliance of all 36 CAATE Residency and Fellowship Standards
- Develop and oversee the assessment of the program framework
- Oversee program, faculty, and resident assessment
- Oversee the quality of clinical and didactic education
- Acquire and maintain CAATE accreditation standards
- Oversee hiring and matriculation of resident applicants
- Oversee the selection and development of program faculty and staff
- Oversee the mentorship and professional growth of residents
- Oversee resident clinical and didactic progression
- Conduct orientation
- Schedule and lead regular faculty meetings
- Oversee the development of didactic and clinical curriculum
- Support outreach contracts as assigned by Department Supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience or commensurate education
- Content expertise within performance enhancement, strength and conditioning, or other related subjects
- Certification and in good standing with the BOC
- Currently licensed (or eligible) and in good standing with the State of Georgia
- NPI number
- An earned post-baccalaureate degree in a related field
- CSCS or related certification
- Advanced certifications in clinical practice, such as BFR, manual therapies, dry needling, etc.
- Active members at local, state, regional, and/or national athletic training organizations
- Experience with the CAATE accreditation process and residency standards
