Source One is a consulting services company and we’re currently looking for the following individual to work as a consultant to our client, an autonomous vehicle company in Foster City, CA.
Title: Technical Program Manager - Manufacturing Operations (contract)
Pay Range: $86.50/hr - $91.50/hr (W-2) plus benefits
Location: On-site in Foster City, limited travel to Hayward, CA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm (8 hours a day w/some flexibility on start/end)
Job description: Support the execution of product changes into production. Coordinate cross-functional work across Product Engineering, Supply Chain & Logistics, Quality, and Manufacturing to move changes from proposal through readiness and cut-in. Ensure clear ownership, accurate data, and on-time implementation while helping refine and stand up scalable operational processes. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in automotive manufacturing operations, a strong understanding of the product development lifecycle, and the ability to extract and connect data across tools like Jira, 3DX, and ERP systems.

As a Technical Program Manager, you will:
- Coordinate cross-functional change activities, keeping scope, ownership, timing, and risks aligned.
- Facilitate decision forums, gather inputs, document outcomes, and drive follow-through.
- Maintain Jira workflows, trackers, and reports; publish concise weekly summaries.
- Partner with Supply Chain & Logistics on BoM accuracy, on-hand/WIP/PO data, lead times, and cut-in timing.
- Monitor validation, readiness, and quality gates, escalating blockers with clear options.
- Support continuous improvement by standing up and simplifying change management processes.
- Maintain visibility into change health and upcoming cut-ins through structured tracking and reporting.
Ideal candidate profile
- Strong Automotive Manufacturing Operations experience
- 6-8 years of experience in manufacturing operations, but AT LEAST 3 years specifically in automotive assembly line production
- Experience standing up processes from the ground up (this is taking process all the way from BoM through to mass production)
- Able to lead cross-functional change management effectively
- Proficiency with Jira (boards, filters, basic workflow hygiene)
- High-proficiency with Excel / google sheets
- Working knowledge of 3DX BOM navigation (parts/revs/effectivity, where-used, EBOM vs MBOM) preferred
- Supply chain basics: lead times, on-hand/WIP/POs, alternates/subs, last-time-buy concepts preferred
Salary : $87 - $92
