Driver Manger - Dedicated Fleet

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Driver Manager to lead our dedicated fleet operations. Duties

• Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of this dedicated refrigerated multi-stop fleet covering 13 NE and Mid Atlantic states , including route assignments and scheduling to optimize efficiency and service delivery.
• Monitor driver performance, providing coaching and feedback to uphold safety standards and operational protocols
• Ensure all drivers adhere to federal, state, and company regulations related to commercial vehicle operation, including hours of service and safety compliance
• Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules, inspections, and repairs to maintain a reliable fleet capable of meeting demanding delivery schedules
• Manage driver onboarding, training, and ongoing development to foster a skilled and compliant workforce
• Develop and implement route plans that maximize productivity while minimizing costs and delays
• Maintain accurate records of driver logs, incident reports, vehicle maintenance logs, and other operational documentation
• Collaborate with warehouse teams for seamless load & unload operations and coordinate with dispatch for timely deliveries
• Communicate effectively with drivers regarding safety policies, operational updates, and company initiatives
• Address driver concerns promptly to promote a positive work environment focused on safety and efficiency

Experience

• Demonstrated leadership skills in managing driver teams or fleet operations in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of mechanical aspects of commercial vehicles and basic troubleshooting skills for routine maintenance issues
• Familiarity with warehouse operations including load & unload procedures using pallet jacks or forklifts is preferred
• Strong communication skills for effective coordination with drivers, dispatchers, maintenance teams, and clients
• Ability to interpret GPS routing software and route planning tools to optimize delivery schedules, currently moving to McLeod software system
• Prior experience in logistics or transportation management roles is highly desirable

Pay: $1,250.00 - $1,400.00 per week
