IAM Developer (Plano, Texas)

Introduction:

This IAM Developer role is for an experienced specialist/engineer who will be responsible for supporting the implementation of Google Cloud Platform Atlas 2.0 Control Plane and Vertex AI enablement for a large-scale financial services client. The main focus will be on establishing secure, governed access to Google Gemini AI model endpoints while maintaining strict compliance with enterprise security standards.

Responsibilities:

• Deep experience with Google Cloud IAM
• Google Cloud Platform Vertex AI IAM
• Resource hierarchy management
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Python scripting for automation
• Zero-trust architecture implementation
• Data classification and access controls
• Compliance with financial services regulations
• Knowledge of encryption and key management
• Understanding of networking and security controls
• Support for Git/version control, CI/CD pipelines, API security, and container security

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Google Cloud Platform IAM Expertise
• Deep experience with Google Cloud IAM
• Google Cloud Platform Vertex AI IAM
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Python scripting for automation
• Zero-trust architecture principles
• Data classification and sensitivity-based access controls
• Knowledge of financial services compliance requirements
• Understanding of encryption, key management, and secrets management
• Networking knowledge including VPC networking and security controls

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Git/version control systems like GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket
• CI/CD pipelines experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, Cloud Build, or similar
• API security knowledge including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, API keys, and token management
• Logging and monitoring experience with Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, and SIEM tools
• Container security understanding with GKE workload identity and service mesh authentication
