Transfer Press Operator I

Responsibilities:

1. Motivation, i.e., helping Soundwich succeed within Job Classification Responsibilities
2. Proficient in the use of applicable ERP System (e.g., PLEX) functions with respect to Job Classification Responsibilities
3. Automatic Press Operator competency
4. Efficiently Set Up, Operate and Troubleshoot Presses (i.e., Automatic, Transfer, Manual) with some Programming (i.e., limited to pre-defined Transfer Recipes, Press Feed Equipment and Controls)
5. Effectively perform Quality Verifications with indicated Inspection Devices, including Visual Inspections (Master Competency Matrix, PLEX Control Plans (Checksheets)
6. Maintain Hourly Rates set forth by Management
7. Authorized Powered Industrial Truck Operator
8. Authorized Crane Operator
9. Catch, Package, Sort, Rework Parts
10. Understand and follow all Company Procedures pertaining to assigned tasks, and the potential consequences of departure from these Procedures
11. Knowledge of the Quality Policy, Quality Objectives, all Company Policies, and the importance of conformance to Soundwich and Customer requirements
12. Knowledge of the effects that nonconforming products have on our Customers
13. Knowledge of the Environmental Policy, Environmental Objectives, all Safety Polices, and the importance of conformance to Soundwich and Regulatory requirements
14. Aware of the Quality impacts of their work activities, their roles and responsibilities in achieving conformance within the Quality System and the benefits of improved personal performance
15. Aware of the Environmental and Safety impacts of their work activities, their roles and responsibilities in achieving conformance within the Environmental and Safety System and the benefits of improved personal performance
16. Aware of how to submit Quality, Safety, Environmental and Business-related questions or suggestions, and how initiate continual improvements
17. Other tasks deemed by Soundwich Management to be in the best interest of Soundwich and our Customers

Requirements:

• Proficient Automatic Operator competency
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• Stand for lengthy periods of time
• Excellent attendance
• Basic computer skills
• Powered Industrial Truck Operation - will train as needed
• Authorized Crane Operation – will train as needed
• Valid Driver’s License
