Program Manager
Responsibilities:
- Motivation, i.e., helping Soundwich succeed within Job Classification Responsibilities
- Plan and implement Projects within the budget and time allocated
- Assist Sales and Engineering during Quoting Process as requested, e.g., Project Scope, Goals and Deliverables
- Manage Programs from Award through hand-off to SOP
- Define Project Tasks and required Resources, allocate Resources, create Schedule and Project Timelines, track Deliverables
- Periodic calls with Customers, and visits to Customers as needed
- As necessary, implement and manage change to meet Project Deliverables
- Evaluate Project results for success, and to determine if changes are necessary to improve the bottom line
- As necessary, assist Production post-SOP to resolve issues
- Understand and follow all Company Procedures and work instructions pertaining to assigned tasks, and the potential consequences of departure from these Procedures
- Knowledge of the Quality Policy, Quality Objectives, all Company Policies, and the importance of conformance to Soundwich and Customer requirements
- Knowledge of the effects that nonconforming products have on our Customers
- Knowledge of the Environmental Policy, Environmental Objectives, all Safety Polices, and the importance of conformance to Soundwich and Regulatory requirements
- Aware of the Quality impacts of their work activities, their roles and responsibilities in achieving conformance within the Quality System and the benefits of improved personal performance
- Aware of the Environmental and Safety impacts of their work activities, their roles and responsibilities in achieving conformance within the Environmental and Safety System and the benefits of improved personal performance
- Aware of how to submit Quality, Safety, Environmental and Business-Related questions or suggestions, and how initiate continual improvements
- Other tasks deemed necessary by Soundwich Management Team to be in the best interest of Soundwich and our Customers
Requirements:
- 3 - 5 years of relevant manufacturing experience required
- Knowledge of established Project Management techniques and tools
- Experience using an ERP system with respect to Project and Quality Management
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office including Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
- CAD knowledge a plus
- Effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent decision-making and leadership skills
- Flexible schedule based on Project requirements
- Strong communication and team-building skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum Language Skills: English
Education:
- Engineering degree a plus
- Automotive background a plus
- CAD knowledge a plus
- Knowledge of applying GD&T
- PPAP experience a plus
- Knowledge of AIAG’s Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA) a strong plus
