What You’ll Do
This role leads projects from design through construction, coordinating consultants, documents, and communication to keep projects moving forward. You’ll manage time, cost, scope, and quality—while collaborating closely with the Principal Architect and other team members.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead design development and oversee production of construction documents and specifications
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality
- Serve as primary contact for technical and architectural decisions
- Coordinate consultants, client communication, and construction administration
- Support and direct designers and staff to achieve project goals
- Ensure compliance with local zoning, building, and energy codes
- Contribute to office culture through shared responsibility and collaboration
Tools & Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction, engineering systems, and project delivery
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, CAD, and BIM
- ARCHICAD experience preferred (training available)
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to delegate effectively
- PMP certification, LEED AP, or LFA encouraged (not required)
Bonus Contributions
- Occasionally support marketing, business development, and lead generation
- Assist with field reports, feasibility studies, and meeting documentation
Qualifications
- 6 years full-time experience in architectural project management
- Degree in Architecture or Environmental Design
- On licensure path (NCARB preferred); must be licensed for Architect title
