It requires adaptability to complex sales cycles and diverse business needs.
What You’ll Do
This position is available for remote work across the United States. Employees within a 60-mile radius of a SoundHound AI office are expected to work from the office on three pre-scheduled, company-wide “core days” per month to encourage in-person cross-team collaboration.
The estimated salary for this position is $200,000-$260,000 OTE plus equity. In addition to salary and equity, you will receive comprehensive healthcare, paid time off, and other benefits. Our recruiting team will provide a specific salary range based on location and years of experience.

The Mid-Enterprise Account Executive – Commercial drives new business across industries such as retail, hospitality, and utilities. The role identifies opportunities where SoundHound’s conversational AI solutions improve customer service, automate processes, and create innovative user experiences. It requires adaptability to complex sales cycles and diverse business needs.
What You’ll Do
- Drive sales to achieve and surpass revenue goals.
- Manage relationships with key accounts and stakeholders in high-impact deals.
- Deliver executive-level presentations that demonstrate value in customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Apply a land-and-expand approach to increase SoundHound’s market footprint.
- Partner with Product and Marketing on go-to-market strategies for key verticals.
- Build, qualify, and close opportunities within a rolling 12-month pipeline.
- Identify and apply contract vehicles for client engagement.
- Coordinate with cross-functional resources at key sales stages.
- Use analytics to optimize sales strategy and decision-making.
- Collaborate with Customer Success on account expansion strategies.
- Align cross-functionally on messaging, pricing, and business models.
- Track industry trends and customer needs across sectors.
- Represent SoundHound in associations and at events.
- Lead and contribute to RFP responses.
- Support contract negotiations.
- 5 years of proven success in B2B SaaS sales.
- Record of selling complex software solutions across multiple industries.
- Consistent history of exceeding sales targets and driving growth.
- Consultative approach that translates business challenges into AI-driven solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Contact Center tools and processes, including CCaaS platforms (Genesys, Five9, NICE, etc.).
- Experience with autonomic, cognitive, and analytic solutions that impact operations (preferred).
- Ability to prospect, build pipeline, and present to executive-level stakeholders.
- Skill in aligning solutions to business priorities.
- Experience managing 20 opportunities simultaneously.
- Proven ability to thrive in collaborative, team-based environments.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
