Local Team Collaboration
- At Texas Health Plano, our strong, collaborative team includes pulmonary/critical care physicians and acute care advanced practice providers with a diverse mix of ICU clinical practice time. Our team provides care to patients in the 28-bed closed ICU.
- Within the hospital, we work closely with the multi-disciplinary team within the unit to collaboratively care for patients.
- Physicians must be board-certified in Pulmonary Critical Care medicine. An active Texas license is required.
- A commitment to excellence in clinical service, with strong problem-solving abilities essential for the ICU setting
- Authorized to work in the United States
Scheduling
- 12-hour night shift, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. APP on-site 7 p.m. to 2 a.m.
- 12, 12-hour shifts per month, scheduled in 4-5 day block shifts
- Texas Health Plano is a 370-bed hospital with a 28-bed mixed patient ICU
- Within the hospital, we work closely with the multi-disciplinary team within the unit to collaboratively care for patients. Candidates need to demonstrate excellent communication skills (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform all technical skills in the critical care setting
