Process Controls Engineer

A leading energy and refining company is seeking a Process Controls Engineer to support refinery operations through the design, implementation, and optimization of process control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain DCS control schemes, alarms, operator graphics, and process historian systems.
- Support refinery operations by troubleshooting control and automation issues.
- Participate in HAZOP, LOPA, MOC, P&ID reviews, and engineering design reviews.
- Support capital projects, ensuring compliance with refinery standards and reliability requirements.
- Specify and procure DCS hardware and develop control strategies that improve safety, efficiency, and operational performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering.
- 4 years of refinery process controls or related industrial automation experience.
- Strong knowledge of DCS systems, refinery operations, process control, and instrumentation.
- Experience with process safety and operational excellence initiatives.
- MBA, PMP, or Professional Engineer (PE) certification is advantageous.
