Our Client is seeking an Principal Business Analyst to join their team. This role is pivotal in driving data-driven decision-making, business strategy, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced analytical skills to support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and process improvement initiatives across the organization.
This position is hybrid. You will work from your remote office and your assigned location based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis: Compile, analyze, and interpret complex datasets; develop and maintain data models for scenario planning.
- Metrics & Reporting: Create and track business metrics; deliver standard and ad-hoc reports for stakeholders.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Support development and management of budgets and forecasts.
- Research & Benchmarking: Identify best practices and establish benchmarks to guide strategic decisions.
- Process Improvement & Quality Assurance: Drive initiatives for efficiency, quality control, and change management.
- Project Leadership: Manage large-scale, cross-functional projects, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

- Mentor and coach team members on strategy and Lean practices.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience: Minimum 8 years in a similar role with proven expertise in data analysis and business strategy.
Skills:
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Project, Visio
- Hands-on experience with Python, Machine Learning, Palantir Foundry, Snowflake, or similar tools
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
