Key Responsibilities

Pricing Strategy & Profitability Management

• Lead pricing strategy and profitability analysis for strategic pharmacy customers and buying groups.

• Identify opportunities to improve margins and optimize pricing performance.

• Develop pricing recommendations based on:

• Market conditions
• Competitive intelligence
• Customer behavior
• Financial performance
• Growth opportunities

• Balance profitability objectives with customer retention and business growth goals.

Financial Modeling & Analytics

• Develop sophisticated pricing and profitability models using large datasets.

• Create scenario-based analyses supporting:

• Contract negotiations
• Pricing proposals
• Risk-sharing agreements
• Regulatory considerations

• Conduct sensitivity analysis and stress testing across multiple pricing scenarios.

• Evaluate the impact of changes in costs, margins, sales volume, and market dynamics.

Sales Partnership & Commercial Support

• Act as the primary Finance Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Sales teams.

• Partner with Sales to understand:

• Customer needs
• Product utilization trends
• Competitive landscape
• Contract opportunities

• Provide fact-based recommendations that support customer negotiations and business growth.

• Participate in customer business reviews and pricing discussions.

Deal Evaluation & Opportunity Management

• Own and manage a pipeline of pricing opportunities and customer proposals.

• Independently evaluate deal profitability and financial viability.

• Ensure pricing recommendations align with corporate financial objectives.

• Track opportunities through approval processes and key milestones.

Executive Reporting & Decision Support

• Present pricing strategies and financial analyses to senior leadership.

• Consolidate complex financial outputs into clear business recommendations.

• Support executive reviews with concise summaries of risks, opportunities, and profitability impacts.

• Communicate findings effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Business Development & Strategic Initiatives

• Identify growth opportunities within pharmacy and healthcare segments.

• Support strategic projects focused on:

• Revenue growth
• Profitability improvement
• Market expansion
• Customer retention

• Contribute to pricing innovation and strategic business initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.

Experience

• 7 years of experience in:

• Pricing
• Financial Analysis
• Deal Desk
• Sales Finance
• Commercial Finance

• Experience supporting complex commercial agreements and pricing decisions.

• Strong experience working with large datasets and financial models.
