Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Coupa Systems Administrator/Analyst to manage, configure, and support their Coupa platform, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Sourcing, and Contract Lifecycle Management Advanced (CLMA). This role partners closely with procurement, finance, and IT teams to ensure the system supports business objectives, operates efficiently, and continues to evolve through enhancements and upgrades.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in optimizing P2P processes, supporting system integrations, and contributing to projects that introduce new functionality across the Coupa ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee configuration and administration of the Coupa platform, including user access and system settings
• Evaluate current procurement and payment workflows and implement process improvements within Coupa
• Collaborate with finance, procurement, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system solutions
• Design and deliver workflows, reports, interfaces, and system enhancements
• Lead and support integrations between Coupa and other enterprise platforms, ensuring proper testing and validation
• Provide day-to-day system support, troubleshooting, and user training to maintain platform stability
• Develop and maintain system documentation, user guides, process diagrams, and training materials
• Ensure system usage aligns with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards
• Partner with IT on technical design, deployment, testing, and change management activities
• Facilitate cross-functional discussions to align stakeholders and drive project milestones
• Perform functional testing and quality assurance for new releases and enhancements
• Manage and prioritize enhancement requests and backlog items in collaboration with business teams
• Support and mentor junior team members, offering technical and functional guidance
• Maintain production support procedures consistent with financial compliance standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related discipline
• At least 2 years of experience supporting financial systems or similar enterprise platforms
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Proficiency with SQL and financial reporting or analytics tools

Preferred Experience

• 3 years administering Coupa or comparable Procure-to-Pay platforms
• Solid knowledge of procurement, sourcing, invoicing, and payment processes
• Hands-on experience with system integrations and issue resolution
• Familiarity with Coupa modules including P2P, Sourcing, and CLMA
• Experience integrating Coupa with systems such as PeopleSoft, ServiceNow, or enterprise data warehouses
• Ability to design and consume APIs for data exchange between systems
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex business and technical challenges
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and business stakeholders
• Experience managing small to mid-scale system implementations or enhancement initiatives
