About the Role
An established consumer health products manufacturer is seeking an Engineering Co-Op student to support manufacturing operations, engineering projects, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This opportunity provides hands-on experience applying engineering concepts in a manufacturing environment, with exposure to project management, process improvement, validation activities, and cross-functional collaboration. Participants will receive training, coaching, and career mentorship while contributing to projects that support operational performance.
This is a full-time assignment requiring at least 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day activities at a manufacturing facility.
- Assist with engineering and project management activities.
- Analyze operational data and contribute to root-cause investigations.
- Support the development and implementation of process improvements.
- Help improve site performance metrics and operational efficiency.
- Assist with validation activities and related documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects and improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled at an accredited university and pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in an engineering discipline, such as chemical, mechanical, industrial, packaging, computer, biomedical, or electrical engineering.
- Must remain enrolled for the duration of the co-op assignment.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Permanent U.S. work authorization without requiring employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Ability to work at least 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 5–6 months beginning in January 2027.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from the work location.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Good problem-solving abilities and willingness to learn.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with statistical tools such as Minitab, or reporting and dashboard tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Interest in consumer health products and manufacturing.
