Are you passionate about leading large-scale infrastructure projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and delivering mission-critical technology environments? We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee complex data center and infrastructure expansion initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business and operational objectives.
What You'll Do
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of data center construction, expansion, and infrastructure deployment projects.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and risks across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, design, construction, networking, operations, and external vendors.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, milestones, timelines, and performance metrics.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Oversee vendor selection, contract administration, and supplier performance management.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure operational reliability and successful project execution.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, safety requirements, construction guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Utilize data, reporting, and performance metrics to track project health, forecast capacity requirements, and optimize outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align infrastructure projects with business growth, capacity planning, and operational needs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance project delivery methodologies, tools, processes, and best practices.
- Support the development of scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions that meet evolving organizational requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline.
- 5 to 8 years of experience managing complex technical, infrastructure, construction, or data center projects.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong project management skills, including scope, budget, schedule, resource, and risk management.
- Experience working with contractors, vendors, and third-party service providers.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to present project status and recommendations to leadership.
- Experience using project management tools, reporting frameworks, and performance metrics to drive successful project outcomes.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining a strong focus on quality, reliability, and operational excellence.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
- Cloud platform knowledge or cloud infrastructure certifications are highly desirable.
- Experience in data center operations, critical infrastructure, construction management, or mission-critical facilities.
- LEED, Data Center Operations, Construction Management, or related industry certifications.
- Familiarity with capacity planning, infrastructure deployment, and operational readiness processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale infrastructure transformation and expansion initiatives.
