Job Title: Electrical Assembler

Location: Katy, TX

Pay Range: $18.00 - $19.00

Job Overview         

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Electrical Assembler to join our Power Electronics production team in Katy. This role is perfect for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude and a basic understanding of electrical wiring. You will be responsible for performing mechanical assembly and wiring tasks according to technical drawings and specifications in a clean, professional manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Mechanical Assembly: Build and assemble components using hand and power tools (torque wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.).
• Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret basic electrical/mechanical diagrams and work instructions to ensure accuracy.
• Quality Control: Inspect parts for defects prior to assembly and report any quality non-conformances to the Lead or Supervisor.
• Workflow Management: Identify and report factors that may impact production or safety; ensure all necessary materials are available for your assigned tasks.
• Maintenance: Maintain an organized and efficient work area following 6S standards.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 6 months of experience as an electrical or mechanical assembler.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with basic hand tools and hardware. Ability to understand work instructions and technical drawings.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs regularly.
• Language: Basic proficiency in English (oral and written) to follow safety and production instructions.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in electrical assembly.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or 6S practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
