What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Estimator position at SOS PROPERTY RESTORATION?
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has 5 years in restoration, construction estimating, or insurance claim estimating, and is highly proficient with Xactimate and Symbility. You’ll work directly with insurance adjusters and homeowners, helping move projects from inspection to approval with accuracy and professionalism.
What You’ll Do
• Create detailed and accurate estimates using Xactimate and Symbility
• Communicate and negotiate scopes with insurance adjusters
• Walk homeowners through the findings, estimate details, and next steps
• Conduct site inspections and document damages thoroughly
• Collaborate with internal teams to support smooth project execution
What We’re Looking For
• 5 years of estimating experience (restoration, construction, or insurance claims)
• Strong proficiency with Xactimate and Symbility
• Excellent communication, documentation, and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
