Job Position: Hall Monitor

Location: Innovative Arts Academy

Pay Rate: $17.08/hr

Shift: M-F 6:50am-2:30pm

We are seeking reliable, professional, and student-focused individuals to join our team as Hall Monitors. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working in a school setting and are committed to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and orderly environment for students and staff.

Successful candidates are observant, approachable, dependable, and able to interact professionally with students, teachers, administrators, and visitors throughout the school day.

Responsibilities

• Monitor hallways, common areas, cafeterias, and school grounds to ensure student safety and adherence to school expectations.

• Assist with student arrival, dismissal, class transitions, and other daily school activities.

• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and positive school environment.

• Report safety concerns, incidents, or behavioral issues to appropriate school personnel.

• Provide directions and assistance to students, staff, and visitors as needed.

• Support school administration with general supervision duties throughout the campus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Experience working with children, teens, or in a customer service, security, or school setting preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to remain calm, professional, and attentive in a fast-paced environment.

• Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to student safety.
