Job Position: Assistant Teacher

Location: School District of City of York

Pay Rate: $19.50/hour

Shift: M-F 07:45AM -3:15PM 5 day a week sub.

NO nights NO weekends NO holidays

Teacher Assistant – Pre-K Counts Classroom

Are you passionate about working with young children and making a positive impact every day? Join our Pre-K Counts team as an Assistant Teacher and help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where children can thrive.

What You'll Do:

• Support the lead teacher with classroom activities and lesson implementation.

• Assist with classroom management and social-emotional development.

• Provide individualized support to students as needed.

• Help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom.

• Assist with daily routines, documentation, and student care.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or higher, OR

• At least 60 college credits (2 years of postsecondary study), OR

• Current CDA (Child Development Associate) credential
