As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient and reliable operation of the facility’s equipment and infrastructure. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues, support production line uptime and ensure that the material‑handling, stacking and sorting systems operate smoothly in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine preventive maintenance tasks on facility equipment: conveyors, palletizers, sorting lines, forklifts, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, packaging or wrapping machines.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical or control systems issues; make repairs or coordinate with outside vendors as needed.
Inspect facility utilities, lighting, HVAC, compressed air, motors, pumps, drives and other building/equipment systems; report defects and schedule corrective work.
Perform or assist in repairs (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural) to restore production line equipment or supporting infrastructure.
Maintain spare‑parts inventory, track maintenance logs, create service records, schedule recurring maintenance and help optimize equipment uptime.
Work closely with production/sorting/stacking teams to schedule maintenance around production flow, minimize downtime and coordinate shutdowns or change‑overs.
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and company standards: lock‑out/tag‑out procedures, PPE, machine guarding, housekeeping of maintenance areas.
Assist in facility layout changes, equipment installations, or process improvements (e.g., adding new conveyors or stacking systems) as directed.
Provide technical guidance or on‑the‑job training to production/maintenance staff where needed and support continuous improvement of equipment reliability.
Education/Experience
Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred.
Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, warehouse or industrial setting. Experience with sorting/stacking equipment, conveyors or recycling operations is a plus.

Solid mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills: ability to read schematics, use diagnostic tools, perform preventive maintenance and repair tasks.
Ability to work on a variety of equipment types (conveyors, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, material‑handling equipment, motor drives) and perform physical tasks (lifting, access ladder/platforms).

Work includes physical activity: climbing stairs/ladders, standing, lifting up to 50 lbs or more, working around moving equipment, noise, variable temperatures typical of warehouse/industrial environment.
