Duties
- Monitor club premises using CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Conduct thorough access control procedures, including performing background checks and verifying identification to regulate entry.
- Patrol the venue regularly on foot to oversee crowd behavior, identify potential conflicts, and maintain physical security.
- Manage conflict de-escalation techniques to resolve disputes peacefully while maintaining a positive environment.
- Respond promptly to emergencies by executing emergency response procedures, including fire safety, first aid, CPR, AED operation, and firearm or Taser handling if necessary.
- Write detailed incident reports documenting any disturbances, injuries, or security breaches for legal and administrative purposes.
- Enforce club policies and compliance with security regulations to prevent theft, loss prevention, and unauthorized access.
Experience
- Proven experience in security roles within nightlife venues or similar environments is preferred.
- Training or background in law enforcement, military service, or emergency response is highly advantageous.
- Certifications in first aid, CPR, AED operation, Taser use, and firearm handling are required or strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and access control systems enhances effectiveness.
- Strong skills in conflict management, customer service, incident report writing, and emergency response procedures are essential.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling when necessary for crowd management or equipment setup.
- Knowledge of legal regulations related to physical security and loss prevention ensures compliance at all times.
